An animated trail of light weaves through a landscape of archive imagery, connecting the imperial past with our multicultural present.

The animation was produced in After Effects, utilising Trapcode plug-ins for the light-trail effects. A bespoke map of The Empire was created in Illustrator and Photoshop. This map was also used extensively throughout the series to illustrate key events. «Back
