How It Was Done

 

1) The cast performed on sets constructed as sections of 3D lettering.

 

2) Oversize set-extensions were produced in Photoshop to create full-size letters that matched the various shots.

 

3) After Effects was used to composite various shots onto these extensions.

 

4) Composite shots were cleaned up and camera moves were added.
