Promotional DVD for leading boardsports brand O'Neill. After Effects was used for animation and compositing. The various elements were placed on 3D layers to produce the final fly-through animation. Archive footage of various snowboarders was composited into the virtual terrain. This typically involved a combination of rotoscoping, keying and motion tracking techniques.
